SPELMAN COLLEGE, READ HALL, ATLANTA, GA

Client: Spelman College

Read Hall included a two-story building constructed in the early 1950s with exterior brick masonry walls and ties into several one-story sections and additions and modifications up to the 1996 Olympic Games. Read Hall was previously utilized to house Spelman College’s Basketball Court and indoor swimming pool as well as office, classroom, and physical education facilities. NOVA performed all forms of environmental assessment for this project prior to and during demolition and redevelopment of the site.
