Join us in extending a warm welcome to Danny Brahana, PE, as the Geotechnical Service Line Leader based out of NOVA’s Kennesaw, Georgia office. Danny’s education, experience, and work history will serve as valued assets to the NOVA team. Danny brings over 38 years of extensive experience in the Atlanta geotechnical market, including 20 years in consulting and 18 years with a geotechnical contractor. He is a 1984 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where he received his B.S., Civil Engineering degree.
Mr. Brahana’s experience expands across the globe. He has performed geotechnical and construction inspection duties for over 500 new construction and existing projects in the southeastern United States. He has also worked on projects in Asia, the Caribbean and in Africa.
Danny actively volunteers in the community, which is very important to his role at NOVA. Currently, he serves as chair of the Georgia Geo-Institute and serves on the Industry Advisory Board for Kennesaw State University’s Civil Engineering Department. This type of community engagement helps keep our company on the cutting edge while offering a proactive approach to understanding current issues and trends affecting the industries we serve.
On a personal note, Danny has been married to his wife, Brigitte, for 29 years. They have two children, including a son in graduate school at Louisiana State University and a daughter in her senior year at the University of South Carolina.
