NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC, a multidisciplinary firm with 480+ employees and ranked among the top 300 design firms in the US by ENR, is excited to announce the transition of the role of President from Randall Bagwell, PE, to Bob Hughes. Our firm has been focused proactively and thoughtfully on succession planning to ensure a successful shift in leadership. In the coming months, Bob will continue to work closely with Randall and our corporate leadership team for a seamless transition.
Since 2009, Randall has served as President and has been instrumental in the firm’s success and growth. Guided by his leadership, NOVA diversified services centered on the needs of our clients while strengthening our practices in environmental, transportation, geotechnical and materials testing engineering, as well as municipal code support services. Randall has led the geographic growth of the firm with additional offices throughout the Southeast region. Going forward, Randall will shift to a client-facing focus, bringing his technical expertise, consulting experience, and problem-solving skills to support our clients’ transportation and infrastructure projects.
Bob brings 20+ years of consulting experience and has been on NOVA’s Board of Managers and the Central Florida Regional Operational Manager for the past 10 years. Bob attended Pennsylvania State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.
