Our growth in Raleigh continues as we add Thomas Bartlett to our team as the Business Unit Manager. Thomas brings over 8 years of experience to NOVA in the geotechnical field. In more recent years he has had a strong focus in solar power projects. In fact, since 2012, he has performed geotechnical engineering services for more than 400 solar projects located primarily in the southeastern United States. As part of his service to solar industry clients, he developed protocols and procedures for full-scale load testing of solar pile foundations.
Thomas is a Professional Engineer in both North Carolina and Virginia. He earned his Master of Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. In his spare time he enjoys playing soccer, attending NCSU football games, camping and paddling, cooking, woodworking and spending time with his wife and two young sons, both under age 2.
