Nothing like closing out a busy September and starting October with positive news to share, especially when it comes to colleagues coming together to help out our community. As Winston Churchill quoted it so well, “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
Under the leadership and heartfelt coordination of NOVA’s administrative assistant, Sabrina Atwell, NOVA’s Charlotte office, was able to secure a grandiose amount of donations to buy much need school supplies. The goods were delivered to our friends at Mt. Holly Middle School, located in Mt. Holly, NC. Actions most certainly speak louder than words, as the huge smiles on all the faces of the staff members clearly expressed the amount of gratitude.
We can’t thank our staff and business partners enough for their time, effort and generous donations they put forth. Mt. Holly followed up with a personal note of thanks stating, “We are SOOO appreciative of your donations!!!! You all went above and beyond!!!! We are so excited to put all of our goodies to use! Thank you guys so so much, we can not begin to tell you how grateful we are!”.
Great job NOVA staff for opening your hearts while helping others. We can’t wait to plan next years’ campaign!
