NOVA is pleased to announce the addition of Jose L. Rivera, PE, to our team as the Charleston Satellite Branch Manager. With a robust background in Project Management, Quality Control, and Project Inspection, Mr. Rivera brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our organization.
He is a licensed Professional Engineer in South Carolina and holds other certifications, including South Carolina Erosion Prevention & Sediment Control Inspector, Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission Certification (Blue Card) & OSHA Outreach Training Program – 30hrs Certification.
Mr. Rivera’s experience includes daily sitework reporting, RCP installation, storm sewer structures, grading, GAB installation, and coordination for testing. He also is well versed in cost codes reporting, equipment daily checklists, and inspection reports.
He has been resident in the Charleston area since July 2015. In his spare time, he loves planning spectacular motorcycle trips nearby and hunting the best motorcycle routes. His motto is great roads lead to great rides! In addition, he enjoys offshore boat trips and saltwater fishing – enjoying the thrill of the catch while respecting the environment to ensure sustainable fishing practice.
