We’d like to give a shout-out to two of NOVA’s Tampa, Florida staff members, Belinda George and Tom Powell, on their recent promotions. Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.
Belinda George will serve the role of Project Coordinator, supporting project management and client services associated with work related to the Private Provider Services department (both in the office and field) throughout the Tampa Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). Additional duties involve executing reports, client correspondence, client consultation and maintenance, permit processing, sales and marketing efforts to develop new business and growth of the company, as well as preparation of proposals and contract documents while working with NOVA’s senior technical professionals.
Tom has been in the construction industry for 35 years with over twelve of them being with NOVA. He has worked in many aspects of the construction industry including project management, field operations, and business development on a variety of private and public projects. His background also includes certified ICC inspections, Certified AWS Welding inspections, Quality Assurance inspections, and materials testing services. Tom will be managing the Quality Assurance Inspection Services department throughout Central Florida.
