Successful people are not gifted; they just work hard and succeed on purpose. NOVA sees these traits in Usenmfon (Usen) Udo and his recent promotion proves it! After 4 years with our firm, Usen is now sporting the role of Geotechnical Business Unit Manager at NOVA Kennesaw. Way to climb that corporate ladder, Usen!
Usen started his engineering career in 2015. Since this time, he has gathered experience in the fields of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing, and special inspections. His studies include an Associate of Science in Engineering Studies earned at Columbus State University, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Georgia. Usen is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama.
If Usen wasn’t an Engineer, he would be an Anthropological Linguist. He finds the history of languages interesting and enjoys learning about the history of cultures. Knowing this about his favorite pastime, it’s not surprising that he enjoys traveling and has been to countries in the continents of Asia, North America, Europe, and Africa. This overachiever also co-hosts a podcast geared towards inspiring and sharing experiences about the engineering consulting industry. During his leisure time, he plays the piano and enjoys playing soccer.
