Project Location: Cabin Creek Solar Facility in Biscoe, NC

Client: Pinegate Renewables, LLC

The Cabin Creek development has a capacity of 75 MWac with solar panels covering about 930 acres. Site development consisted of installation of photovoltaic (PV) modules across the solar array which are supported on driven posts  installed to depths of up to about 10 feet below final grade. Panels are supported by a driven pile or drilled shaft foundation system designed primarily to resist axial uplift (tension) loading and lateral loads.
