This project included a 14-acre, 2-story parking deck facility adjacent to the CNN Center. NOVA was selected to conduct an interior and exterior structural condition survey and design urgent repairs. NOVA’s Facilities and Forensics Structural Engineering team has been performing semiannual structural and waterproofing condition survey services since 1991 to develop repair recommendations, prioritize repairs, and establish/forecast budgets for the facility. Additional services included preparing scope of work development for bidding, repair drawings and technical specifications, and repair observations/periodic inspections during the construction.
