NOVA served as the primary environmental consultant for this project which included performing the environmental assessments (ACM, LBP, and HBM Surveys), remediation oversight (including abatement and Underground Storage Tank removal and closure) and clearance sampling for the redevelopment of the original City of Newnan hospital as a modern nursing campus for the University of West Georgia between 2013 and 2015. The original Newnan Hospital structure was constructed in 1924 with significant building additions in 1938, 1942, and the 1980s. This centerpiece of historic Newnan underwent extensive renovation for redevelopment as a University of West Georgia Nursing Campus. The structure has undergone numerous additions and renovations since the original construction in 1924. In addition to being the primary environmental consultant for this project, NOVA performed geotechnical assessment and Construction Materials and Testing special inspection services for a new auditorium building addition added to the west side of the main on-site structure in 2014.
